Clean Comfortable accomodation convieniently situated for an easy ten minute walk into Killarney.
really great stay, staff very friendly and helpful, clean spacious accomodation
had a great stay, thank you for all your help
great place to stay, great price , great service, bright clean rooms, good staff and good smoked salmon and eggs a surprise at the price!!!
The room itself was clean. Breakfast was included. The bed was comfy, the room was hot at first but once the ceiling windows were opened it was nice and comfortable.
This guesthouse was not easy to find, the directions were adequate I almost gave up trying to find. I was on foot from the bus station with a backpack, better directions and a more accurate. no it is not just five minutes from town on foot! Wifi is non existent, why advertise it if it cant be used in your room. Shower dirty and grout black and grungy. Staff not very knowledgeable, and at times are too direct and off putting in theri answers. no desk in room.
The staff as reported in previous reviews were extremely friendly and the room was spotlessly clean. it is in easy walking distance of the town centre and also has bars and resturaunts around it
I dont know who wrote the previous reviews friends!!!! But first impressions are not good the nets are drooping at the windows and it looks very run down. on entering it smelled stale and was vey sparsely decorated the room we were in had no windows just a sky light , the bed was rock hard and when you flushed the toilet it took approx 3 mins to refill and was realy noisy. breakfast is served on a sideplate and had been cooked and left until needed the sausage and black pudding were stuck together and the egg like rubber. I apreciate that this room was cheap and did not expect 4 star but I would rate this 1 star at the mostand definately not value for money
The room was nice but cups with no kettle ?
large spacious and clean room with comfy beds
The price for a single room was excellent
I was in the front room upstairs. There were no blinds on the windows. I had to put a towel against the bathroom window so that the nearby hotel guests didn't see right in! I also found some rubbish under the bed. i booked a double room with single occupancy, but there was a double and single bed in the room. There would have been much more space without the second bed.
The room seemed clean and well presented
It was called 'The lemon and lime hotel', 'The lime court hotel' and the 'harmony inn' hotel in different places which made finding it very confusing. Also the pin on google maps is in the wrong place. If you try to find it using google maps then you will get lost. I tried it both on my iphone and computer and it was wrong on both. It took me an hour to find the place.
The price was very competitive and the breakfast was good. The room was good for the price.
It was not quite as near the centre of Killarney as the map showed.
value for money
the hotel is not in town center as stated in their information it is at least 15 minutes walk maybe 10 if your a very fast walker also a bit of a damp smell
The location was good, dining area was small had to sit apart, and breakfast was skmpy.
Breakfast and no soap in shower.
There was no soap or shampoo in the bath room,no milk for tea either. There should be a senier member of staff to check minor details of the services.
The location was good as we were in Killarney for gift grub at the INEC and this B&B was close by. I booked a double room for myself and my husband, a single room for my sister and a triple room for my brother and his 2 friends, we were all out pretty late so the pricing of the rooms is ok if all you require is a bed for the night, a shower and breakfast the next day.
The decor of the rooms was very basic, smelt a bit damp, the ensuite was very small with cracks in the sink etc, the soap dispenser in the ensuite was empty and there was only a small bit of toilet roll there for us (granted you could get more if you asked but these basics should be topped up regularly). There was no milk in the room for the tea/coffee provided, although we did get some when we asked but again these should be there already, and the granules in one of the sachets of coffee were very dodgy looking!! We had to pay upfront and this had to be cash as "the paper for the visa machine was gone" . The staff could have done with a bit more manners. The cooked breakfast was served on a small side plate???
